FLEET FOXES - HE DOESN’T KNOW WHY
What is it about Fleet Foxes? Is it their autumnal, Northeastern tone that makes me swoon like I’ve just put on a warm sweater? Is it the combination of simple and classic instruments, like acoustic guitars, pianos, timpani drums that makes me feel like I’m tucked into a woodsy cabin with some cute bearded boys? Is it Robin Pecknold’s supremely gorgeous voice? Is it the building, unfolding structure of each song that hits me the same way winter’s cold light attacks a building at 3pm?
